The Nine Beatitudes of JesusNäide

Day 8 - Blessed are the peacemakers
Next on Jesus’ beatitudes’ list concerns peacemakers. Jesus says such people are blessed and that they’ll be “called” the sons of God. Note that Jesus didn’t say they are the sons of God, but they will be called the sons of God.
You become a child of God when you get saved. But until you live like Jesus and witness Him, others won’t find the expression of eternal life in you. One of the ways people will know that you live like Jesus is how hard you pursue peace with all manner of people, including controversial people.
This truth confirms what is written in Hebrews 12:14, which says,
“Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:” – Hebrews 12:14 (NKJV)
When you pursue peace with people, you will see God’s manifestations in your life. Sometimes, to get peace, you’d have to give up your valid reasons for other people’s offenses against you. Today, for the sake of peace, accept other people’s talks. So that arguments will die. Shalom!
