The First Letter of JohnNäide

God Is Love
As opposed to what the Gnostics preached, God’s defining feature wasn’t some far-off special knowledge. His defining feature was, and still is, love. As we abide in Him, as we dwell in Christ, this love should be our defining feature too.
Devotional Question:
How do you define love? Is this how you define God? Or perhaps ask yourself how you define God. And is this how you define love?
About this Plan

1 John is one of the most quoted books of the Bible, and for a good reason: John understood God’s love in a special way. As we explore the pages of this book, let that be our main goal: to understand the love of God better and better, and to grow closer to Him.
