God's Redemption Story (Exodus - Joshua)Näide

Canadian author Charles De Lint said, “I was going through the motion of life, instead of really living, and there’s no excuse for that. It’s not something I’ll let happen to me again.” While De Lint spoke of life generally, the same is often true of our life with God.
We pray to check off an item on a list instead of to converse with God, and we go to church out of habit and obligation rather than a desire to be fed spiritually. When we go through the spiritual motions, we easily forget why we began in the first place. We forget how great God is and what He has done for us.
How would your prayer life be different if you truly believed God is who He said He is? How much more valuable could a Sunday morning be if you looked for what God wants to teach you? How would your daily habits change if you focused on all God has done for you?
