In the 1990s, a Campus Crusade for Christ office in Texas was nearly forced to close its doors. Their donors had stopped giving, their savings had run out, and the rent was due. The team gathered and someone prayed, “Lord, we know you own the cattle on a thousand hills. Could you sell a few?” The team chuckled at the prayer, but just then a man walked in. “I’m sorry to interrupt, but I’m a rancher outside of town. God told me to sell a thousand head of cattle and bring the check to you.”
