Worshipping focuses our wavering hearts Lord, please show me where my love for you and others has been dulled by busyness, distraction and disobedience. Increase my awareness today. The church in Ephesus had abandoned their first love. It’s not clear who they had stopped loving. It could have been their love for Jesus, their love for those within the church or even their love for their neighbours out in the world. As they are linked, most likely all three. Awareness of God’s love for us enables us to respond to that love and show love to others.
