Paul says that all things work together for the good of those who love God. This means that for Christians the troubles that we encounter and the problems that we face, we can look at with a different perspective. Our outlook is more hopeful. We can trust that although things may not be in our favor at the moment, God is at work accomplishing something for our ultimate good. We can be confident in this because though the situations may surprise us, they don't surprise God. He had our story written before we were ever born. God is forming us into the image of His son and one day we will be like Him. Knowing that, we can rest assured that as circumstances come, God is using them to mold us day after day until He comes back for us.
