NO LIMITS TO JOY
We live in a world where joy is scarce. Depression afflicts so many people. Many live under the burden of condemnation and fear. Yet God is the source of joy. But we hear Jesus Christ saying: Come to me, you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. We hear Him say: Ask in my name that your joy may be complete. Paul the apostle then adds by encouraging the saints: Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice. You have entered the no limits zone of joy that comes from above. Jesus Christ is your joy. Joy is not just an emotion. It is a realm. In His presence, there is fullness of joy. This is where you experience joy unspeakable and full of glory. Do you have that joy? Can you dare receive this joy? It is your inheritance in Christ. The fruit of the Spirit is joy. Do not fear. Put your burdens on Jesus Christ and take His joy, and you will rise to heights of freedom beyond your imagination.
Therefore, I declare that I have inherited the joy of the Lord. In Christ, I have entered the joy of the Lord. The joy of the Lord is my strength. My sins are forgiven in Him. His riches are mine forever to enjoy. I am rejoicing in the Lord always and will rejoice repeatedly. This joy is generated by the Holy Spirit in me. It is my standing in Christ. I will always bless the Lord. His praise will continually be in my mouth. Joy is a result of knowing who I am in Christ. It is knowing that the victory was won. It is knowing that in all things I am more than a conqueror. No limits to joy.
