NO LIMITS TO GROWING

The Christian life is not a stagnant life. It is like a river that flows continuously. We have been called to grow. A child of God who delights in the word of God is also like a tree planted by the river. Its roots go deep; it bears fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers. There are no limits to growing for a kingdom citizen. Jesus once said that if we abide in Him and He abides in us, we bear much fruit because apart from Him we can do nothing. Connected to Christ enables us to go beyond the limits of stagnation. We grow in faith, in influence, in power, in character, in love, in beauty, and in grace. The Holy Spirit in us makes this possible. It is the heavenly Father’s pleasure that we grow and bear fruit that abides.

Therefore, I declare that I was born to grow beyond limits into maturity in Christ. I will use every means given to me by the Holy Spirit to grow in wisdom and spiritual stature, and in favour with God and man. Growing is key to my being effective in the Kingdom. I must grow and become productive. I must grow to let my light shine on the earth. I must grow for God to fill me with all that it takes to have an impact in this world. I am expectant that I will grow from one degree of glory to another as I fix my eyes on God and His word.
