No Process, No PurposeSample

God Has a Purpose for Your Life – Day 1
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
(Romans 8:28, NIV)
“In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will.”
(Ephesians 1:11, NIV)
The word purpose comes from the Latin propositum—something “set forward.” That means God has already placed a plan before you. You are not in this world by accident.
Your life already has direction. The challenge is to intentionally seek God to discover what that purpose is. Sometimes we live like dogs chasing their own tails—running in circles around our plans and desires but never moving toward what truly fulfills us: God’s purpose.
In everyday life, it’s like walking with your GPS turned off—you may move a lot, but you’ll never know if you’re going the right way. With God, the GPS is on, and the Holy Spirit is the voice guiding your steps.
Talk with God and open your heart:
Lord, thank You because my life is not an accident. You have an eternal purpose for me. Help me not to waste time chasing my own plans but to seek Your will with a sincere heart. Amen.
Think about this:
• Are you chasing your own plans or pursuing God’s purpose?
• What parts of your life show that your spiritual GPS is on?
Coming up on Day 2: God’s Process
Tomorrow we’ll discover that fulfilling God’s purpose isn’t instant—it’s a journey where He shapes our character and prepares us for what’s ahead.

About this Plan

We all long to live with purpose, but many times we forget that God’s purpose is fulfilled through a process. That process is not always easy—it involves trials, waiting seasons, and lessons that shape our character. The Bible shows us that every stage, even the hardest one, is part of God’s perfect design. This 5-day plan will help you trust that every process has meaning, persevere through testing, and walk with hope toward the eternal purpose that God has already prepared for your life.
