God Is With You in Every Moment

There are places where we think God cannot be—perhaps a prison, an illness, a financial crisis, or a betrayal. However, Joseph’s story shows us the opposite.

When Joseph was sold as a slave and taken to Potiphar’s house, the Bible says:

“The Lord was with Joseph so that he prospered, and he lived in the house of his Egyptian master.” (Genesis 39:2, NIV)

Joseph’s life was marked by God’s presence, and that presence even brought blessing to those around him.

Later, when he was falsely accused and thrown into prison, we read the same words again:

“The Lord was with Joseph and gave him success in whatever he did.” (Genesis 39:23, NIV)

Prison didn’t stop God’s favor on his life.

This teaches us something profound: no matter where you are, if God is with you, you can flourish. Prosperity is not just material success—it’s growing in the middle of adversity, maturing in faith, and being light in the darkness.

Maybe today you find yourself in a place you didn’t expect—an unfair situation, a sudden problem, or a pain that’s hard to explain. Remember: God is with you right there. His presence doesn’t depend on your circumstances. If you seek Him and allow Him to work, His favor can transform even the darkest prison into a place of growth and purpose.

Talk with God and open your heart:

Good Father, thank You because Your presence is always with me. Even in times of difficulty, You are near. Help me not to doubt Your love when life gets complicated. Give me faith to trust that, even when I don’t understand, You are working and will use this moment for my good. May my life be a testimony of Your faithfulness wherever I am. Amen.
