The Road Home: Reflections of a ProdigalSample

We will read passages from the Old Testament over the next few days. Israel was often rebelling and disobedient. God, through the prophets, was calling them back.
How does God describe Himself in this passage?
How have you seen this to be true in your own life?
How is He calling them to return?
What would it look like for you to rend your heart?

About this Plan

Jesus tells the parable of the Prodigal Son to a crowd of tax collectors and sinners, the unsavory people of that time. The Pharisees stand by in judgment. As we read together, we will explore the themes of repentance, returning, and rejoicing. Hopefully, we will be challenged and encouraged as we reflect on our own seasons and events that draw us back towards the Father – only to find Him running towards us!
