The Road Home: Reflections of a ProdigalSample

What does returning look like in this passage? How are we to respond?
In your normal routine, how do you "come near to God"?
Do you feel near to God? What makes you answer this way?
Sit with the Holy Spirit, ask Him how you could "come near" in new ways.

About this Plan

Jesus tells the parable of the Prodigal Son to a crowd of tax collectors and sinners, the unsavory people of that time. The Pharisees stand by in judgment. As we read together, we will explore the themes of repentance, returning, and rejoicing. Hopefully, we will be challenged and encouraged as we reflect on our own seasons and events that draw us back towards the Father – only to find Him running towards us!
