Horizon Church November Bible Reading Plan: Flawed but Called - the Book of Judges

DAY 2 OF 30

Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorise it, we carry the Word of God with us wherever we go. Over the course of this study, we are memorising Judges 6:12

When the angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon, he said, “The Lord is with you, mighty warrior.”

Judges 6:12 (NIV)

If you’ve never memorised Scripture before, it can be good to read it aloud several times, breaking it down into smaller chunks. Write it down and carry it with you, repeating it throughout the day. Visualise the words, attaching meaning to them. Incorporate the verse into your prayers, letting it resonate in your spirit. Over time, these words will become buried in your heart, guiding and reminding you of His truth in moments of need.

About this Plan

Horizon Church November Bible Reading Plan: Flawed but Called - the Book of Judges

Flawed but Called invites us into the raw, real stories of the Book of Judges - where imperfect people were used by a perfect God. In a time of chaos and compromise, God still raised up deliverers. Their flaws didn’t disqualify them; His call did not waver. As we journey through Judges, may we see that our weaknesses don’t limit God’s power - they make room for His grace to shine.
