Key Characteristics of a Soul Winner

There are numerous characteristics, but here are a few key components that are crucial in reaching the people you love. These are in no particular order, but all are needed to see your loved ones come to Christ.

1. A non-negotiable sold-out follower of Jesus. You carry the title of Ambassador for Christ (2 Cor. 5:20-21). It's an unwavering spirit of devotion and love for our Savior that is obvious to those around you. Your life is different, yet you are the same everywhere you go (Hebrews 10:23).

Because we are to emulate Christ, we remain consistent in our intention and actions, all of which are to be done in love. If Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever... so must we be (Heb. 13:8).

2. A true worshiper. Your faith is exercised in worship, regardless of the situation or circumstance. You sing to the Lord. You Study His Word. You quote His Words. You pray and pray some more. All are forms of worship.

3. Pray without ceasing (1 Thess. 5:17). I will later add a list of Scriptures that you can pray specifically over your loved one/s. Praying the Scriptures back to God is a beautiful thing. He not only loves it when we do this... He honors it! Never feel that you are "asking too much or too often." God cares about the tiniest of our details, the largest of our concerns, and everything in between!

Remember the parable of the woman who went to the UNrighteous judge, time and time again, until he caved to her request to get a reprieve? How much more does Jesus care for YOU and your request? (Luke 18:1-8)

Our prayers don't always get answered right away. Some take quite a bit of time... some even some years, but God is faithful to complete that which He has begun, and we must trust the process!

4. You take seriously the study of God's Word, you make it a routine habit, and you assemble with other believers to grow spiritually (Heb. 10:25). You know and exemplify the importance of attending God's house and gathering with His people so that you can be sharpened in Him (Prov. 27:17).

5. There's a genuine desire to see the lost saved and a hunger in your soul to be used of God.
