Restoring Your Soul - Living a Limitless LifeSample

God's Always Right on Time
Have you ever been frustrated when something you planned didn’t come together the way you expected, or it took much longer than you thought it would? I think most of us can relate to this. It can feel discouraging, even like we’re falling behind or experiencing a significant setback.
Even though it is challenging, when we walk in relationship with Jesus and trust that His timing is perfect (which does require us to surrender to His plan), we discover a healthier, more content, and peaceful way of living.
Last year, I published a book that I assumed would be a quick project. I had been teaching the content of the book for years, so I thought writing it on paper and creating a workbook out of it would be simple. How hard could it be, right? Well, I’ll spare you the details, but let’s say there were many obstacles, challenges, and unexpected detours. The process of writing, editing, and publishing took me years longer than I anticipated.
Now, almost a year later, my perspective has completely shifted. I realize there was no delay. Nothing I faced derailed God’s plan for me. I didn’t miss my moment. In fact, the book was published at exactly the right time. It was published in His time.
Instead of giving in to frustration when things seem to be falling apart instead of coming together, I want to encourage you to trust the process with whatever project you’re working on or waiting for. Waiting is one of the most challenging aspects of faith. Place yourself under His mission and trust that He is always right on time.
I Invite You to Ask Yourself:
- What am I currently waiting on God for?
- How do I typically respond when answers don’t come quickly?
- When delays or setbacks happen in my plans, do I view them as failures or as opportunities to trust God’s perfect timing?
- What area of my life right now might I need to surrender more fully to God’s mission instead of clinging to my own timeline?
- Looking back, can I recognize a time when something I thought was “late” actually turned out to be right on time in God’s plan?
I Invite You to Pray:
Lord, help me to wait patiently and trust that Your timing is for my good. Give me peace in the process, not just in the outcome. Reveal to me what You want me to learn as I wait and submit to Your will and timing. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
About this Plan

Do you identify with "the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak?" If so, you're not alone. This 30-day Bible reading plan focuses on how to partner with God to restore our souls. We can renew our minds, submit our wills (submit isn't as scary a word as you might think), and heal our emotions. I invite you to join me in learning to walk more fully in the Spirit, instead of being governed by our flesh. Your limitless life awaits!
