Serving the Lord: God Wants to Use You - a 5 Day Devotional Sample

DAY 5 | FOREVER FAITHFUL
Faithfulness matters. It is one way we reflect the heart of God to others. God is faithful, and He invites us to live the same way. Not perfectly, but consistently. Not without struggle, but with resolve.
To be faithful doesn’t mean we never doubt or wrestle with hard moments. It means we keep going. We stay the course. We hold fast to God’s promises even when the answers are slow or the days feel long. Our faithfulness is not about the strength we bring to the table. It’s about trusting the One who walks with us.
Each time we remain faithful in small things, we demonstrate to others that our faith is genuine. That it’s not just emotion or talk. It’s rooted. It’s steady. And God uses that kind of quiet witness to encourage and strengthen the people around us. Your faithfulness might be what helps someone else hold on.
Serving God will not always be easy. But it will always be worth it. He sees every act of obedience, every quiet decision to remain true to Him. And in that, we grow. We learn to lean more fully on His grace. We begin to rest in His strength instead of our own.
Faithfulness is not about being noticed. It’s about being available. It’s about showing up, again and again, because we believe God is who He says He is. And He is. He is faithful. He is good. And He will finish what He started in you. As you remain available, He will use you in the lives of those around you.

GUIDED PRAYER:
Lord, I want to stay faithful. Help me to remain steady in every part of my life, especially when the way forward feels uncertain. Strengthen my heart to follow You with consistency. My desire is to serve You and others with the same faithfulness that You show me. Teach me to trust You and remind me that You never let go.
Amen.
