God Our Healer

DAY 21 OF 30

“What I Have, I Give You”

A man crippled from birth sat by the temple gate each day, hoping for coins, just enough to survive another day. When Peter and John passed by, he looked at them with the same expectation. But what he received was far greater than what he asked for. Peter didn’t have money to offer, but he had something much more powerful: faith in the name of Jesus!

“What I do have I give you…”

This moment reminds us that the most valuable thing we can offer others is not material wealth, but the life-transforming power of Jesus. Peter didn't heal the man in his own strength or charisma. He invoked the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the name with authority over sickness, sin, and spiritual bondage. This same name (Jesus) has power in your life today!

When you speak or act in Jesus’ name, according to His will and led by His Spirit, you step into a legacy of divine authority and compassion. You're not just representing Christ, you're channeling His presence into real-world situations.

Like Peter, you may not have material riches. But if you know Jesus, you possess something infinitely greater:

  • Hope for the hopeless
  • Peace in chaos
  • Prayer that reaches heaven
  • Faith that moves mountains
  • Love that reflects Christ

You have the power to make an eternal difference when you’re willing to give what you do have.

Questions for Reflection:

  • Are you living with the awareness of what you have in Christ?
  • Who around you needs more than “silver or gold” today—someone who needs hope, healing, or encouragement?
  • How can you boldly offer what you have in the name of Jesus?

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, thank You for the power and authority in Your name. Help me to see the needs around me—not just physical needs, but spiritual and emotional ones too. Remind me that I don’t need to have riches or status to make a difference. I only need to offer what I have—faith in You. Use me today to bring healing, hope, and love to someone in need. In Your name, Amen.
