AS FOR ME – I WILL WORSHIP
What does a LIFE of worship look like beyond Youth Camp?
Ps Morgan Leeke | Noosa Church
Worship isn’t something to be confined to church or youth camps. God calls us into a
posture of worship that is evident in our daily lives: at work, at school, alone or with friends.
It’s a call of surrender: despite who’s around me or what is happening, I surrender and
worship the Lord. The picture of worship described in the Bible isn’t one of atmospheric lights and spirit keys we get to enjoy when we come together. Instead, it was an offering… a sacrifice given to the Lord.
We see in 1 Chronicles 16 the priests in the tabernacle offering burnt sacrifices, morning and
evening, giving thanks to the Lord and praising the Lord continuously.
When they worshipped, they:
1. Gave offerings: surrendered things of value to the Lord
2. Continued regularly: worship wasn’t an occasional option but was built into their
rhythms
3. Gave God praise: lifted words and songs of thanksgiving to the Lord
Choosing to live a life of worship today still takes sacrifice, but because of Jesus’ ultimate
sacrifice, it’s not through burnt offerings on an altar.
Paul tells us to:
“… present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is
your spiritual worship.” Romans 12:1
Living a life of worship means constantly surrendering our will, desire, and actions to God.
We are all worshipping something, following something, influenced by something. It’s up to
you to decide whether you will worship the Lord or something else. Think about your daily
life: What are you worshipping? What is taking up your time, attention, and value? Have you
limited your worship to music and singing, or is it evident in your actions, behaviours, and
attitude?
How can you bring praise into your daily habits with God?

About this Plan

The altar was only the beginning—now it’s time to walk in the power of your “yes” to God. This Bible plan will help you live out Joshua 24:15: “As for me…” Each day will stir your faith, strengthen boldness, and ignite a fire to stand for Jesus in your family, school, and generation. Through prayer, Scripture, and the Holy Spirit, you’ll be equipped to live unshaken. Camp lit the flame, but the fire is meant to fall in daily life. You are marked, chosen, and anointed to live with purpose and power for such a time as this.
