God, Our Home!Sample

Day 7: The Ultimate Work of the Builder: Jesus
We have learned that God is a master builder and how He is building our lives, our community, and our future but the greatest thing that God built was a way back to Him. Romans 5:8 says, “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” This is the ultimate work of The Builder - the work of Jesus on the cross. Through His life, death, and resurrection, Jesus demolished the wall of sin that separates us from God.
Because of this, we are completely forgiven, made new, and given a fresh start. We are no longer separated from God, we are His sons and daughters. He made a way for us to belong, to grow, and to live in the purpose that God has for our lives. His finished work is the foundation we now get to build our lives on. Because of Jesus, we’re no longer separated, we're part of God's family, forever.
As this week ends, remember: God is still building. He’s still working in your life. And because of Jesus, you can walk confidently in the life He’s shaping for you. A life full of hope, purpose, and love.
Application: How might your life look different if you truly believed that you are completely forgiven and made new because of Jesus? Is there anything still making you feel distant from God, even though Jesus made a way back? What would it look like to give that to Him?
About this Plan

Throughout this six-day devotional, we will walk through what it looks like to allow God to be the builder of our lives and find a home in Him. We serve a God who loves us unconditionally and desires a relationship with us, not just because of what we do, but who He is. Join us as we talk through what it looks like to find our home in God!
