Declare and Breathe

Muscles and skin covered the bones, but still no breath. Then God says, speak a prophetic message to the winds. Say, “Come breath from the four winds. Breathe into these dead bodies so they may live again.” So I spoke the message. They all came to life, stood to their feet—a great army.

Ezekiel was instructed to declare. Talking to God is good. God delights in spending time with us. But out of this relationship, we are also given authority. Jesus says, “I will give you the keys of the kingdom… Whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven…”

We are not bystanders to revival. You are a key player by declaring. What are you speaking to your family? Declare the scriptures. The promises. The world is declaring things to us. Are you going to be the one to break it?

God said declare—not a vague prayer. Ezekiel spoke to the bones. Then God said speak to the winds. That’s where we need to get awkward. It’s a reality—there is an enemy. There are things going on under the surface. Speak to the winds.

Speak to the bones—the seen. Speak to the winds—the unseen. Let it be awkward. Let it be messy. Step out in faith.
