Day 5

The Shield of Faith

"In every battle, take faith as your wrap around shield, for it is able to extinguish the blazing arrows coming at you from the Evil One." -Ephesians 6:16

It wouldn't be a battle if we didn't need FAITH! But the fact that this verse says, "In every battle...take FAITH as your wrap-around shield..."

It takes FAITH to overcome each battle. Without it, you leave yourself vulnerable to the enemy's plans, plots and schemes.

It doesn't matter how big or small the battle is. As believers we have been given the measure of FAITH.

Don't get focused on the measure part, as far as comparison to others (that is not Biblical). The measure is EXACTLY what we need in each of our battles.

God knows exactly how much faith we need to release with each battle we face, so that we can overcome and reign as royalty.

In Scripture, Jesus tells us that if we have faith the size of a mustard seed (in another translation, it says "faith the size of a poppy seed," which is even smaller than a mustard seed), we can tell this mountain to be moved and thrown into the sea (Matthew 17:20) and... that nothing would be impossible!

That mountain is the battle.

Faith in Jesus Christ is so powerful that even a small amount released can move something as big and mighty as a mountain!

Come on now! This should be lighting a faith filled fire within you.

When we release our faith, we are also saying so!

Our words are containers, and we get to fill them with life or death (Proverbs 18:21), faith or fear.

Our wrap-around Shield is backed with God's Promises (God's Word) of Protection!

Key Point: When the enemy throws his blazing arrows at us in the spirit realm, each time we SPEAK and DECLARE the Word of God (His Promises) ... we are enforcing this Powerful Wrap Around Shield of Faith!

I want you to imagine what this wrap-around Shield looks like. This word wrap-around is key... we don't just have a shield up in front of us; it is completely wrapping around our being. From the top of our head to the soles of our feet, around our sides, nothing exposed!

God is such a good God. He has His children totally covered and protected from the enemy. But we must remember this! We have to know that we have this available to us. If we don't, we might think it's normal to let the devil get by with his tricks. We might just assume that our Armor has a crack in it.

Our Armor has Total Protection.

The Word of God Never Fails but It Will Accomplish (Isaiah 55:11).

No lie.

No symptom.

No trick.

No crack.

No plan, plot, or scheme that is devised by the devil can penetrate this Supernatural Wrap-Around Force Field!

The devil may have power, but we as God's chosen children... we have the POWER and AUTHORITY, In Jesus' Name.

We have been given the Name of Jesus to dismantle and obliterate every plan of attack of the enemy!

As we stand in faith...

As we use the Word of God...

As we use the Name that is above every other name, the Name of Jesus...

We can defeat the enemy.

We can overcome every battle we face.

We can stand in victory before the battle even starts.

Without faith, we have no shield. We have no protection.

Without faith, we cannot stand against the evil one.

Without faith, we will lose every time.

But with faith as our wrap around shield, the enemy cannot stand a chance.

And he knows it!

But... he is hoping you never have this supernatural revelation. He is hoping that you don't fully grasp who you are in the kingdom realm because when you do... HE LOSES!

As God's chosen you have rights, you have privileges, you are heir to the throne, and this inheritance comes with wrap-around shield protection.

If you can grasp taking hold of this Bible Principle, you will live undefeated!

Now, I am not saying you won't face battles, because you will. We all do.

But, if you have the mindset of knowing WHO you are in Christ, that you already have the VICTORY before the battle even starts...

You've got it!

You can boldly and confidently walk in this supernatural realm of protection.

As you continue to walk in faith, you are strengthening your wrap around shield.

Praise God.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17).

The enemy knows every Word of God, but he is hoping you don't. This is why it is vital we are taking time to read and meditate on God's Word, daily.

We defeat the devil by the Word of God (Revelation 12:11).

We must get built up on our faith.

Start Now!

Every day, get in the Word of God and build upon your faith muscle, so when the enemy comes you won't be caught off guard but strengthened and ready in your position of victory, in Jesus mighty Name!

DECLARATION

As a child of God, I declare I have faith as my supernatural wrap-around Shield that protects me from the evil one! There are no cracks in my Shield! I am fully covered and protected! Anytime the enemy throws one of his fiery darts my way, I will release my faith and declare the Word of God over my life and my situation. I declare I have the victory. Always! In Jesus mighty and matchless Name, amen!

Spend 5 minutes in the Word of God, daily. Build from there. Don't let a day go by without being in God's Word and in His presence.
