Head/Heart/Hands Questions Day 22 of 30 (1 Timothy 1–6 & 2 Timothy 1–4)
Hope you’ve listened to the Audio Bible! Now, take some time to meet with your group. Below are some sample questions to guide your conversation, but feel free to add your own too.
🧠 Head (What did the passage say?)
- What passages—like Paul’s charge to Timothy to guard the good deposit and live above reproach (1 Timothy 4:12–16; 6:11–14)—highlight integrity in leadership and life?
- Where do you see discipline, such as Paul urging Timothy to train himself to be godly (1 Timothy 4:7–8) and to be prepared in season and out of season (2 Timothy 4:2)?
- Which example best shows sound teaching, like holding firmly to the pattern of sound words (2 Timothy 1:13–14) and correcting opponents with gentleness (2 Timothy 2:24–26)?
- What teaching—such as “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” (2 Timothy 4:7 NIV)—challenges common views about faith being passive or easy?
- How do these chapters—especially Paul’s example of pouring himself out in service (2 Timothy 4:6)—reveal a life wholly devoted to God’s service?
❤️ Heart (What does it mean for me?)
- Which verse—like 1 Timothy 4:12—gives you hope and motivation to live with integrity?
- How does Paul’s emphasis on discipline in 1 Timothy 4 and 2 Timothy 4 encourage your spiritual growth?
- When have you shared or received sound teaching that shaped your faith?
- How does Paul’s example in 2 Timothy 4:7–8 challenge your view of persevering faith?
- How does seeing Paul’s wholehearted service inspire your worship and ministry?
🤲 Hands (How will I live it out?)
- Share with someone this week a truth about integrity from 1 Timothy or 2 Timothy.
- Practice a spiritual discipline—like prayer, Bible study, or fasting—intentionally today.
- Teach or explain a biblical truth to someone who needs clarity.
- Take a concrete step to “run your race” faithfully in a specific area of life.
- Serve someone this week with the same wholeheartedness Paul modeled.
