Head/Heart/Hands Questions Day 27 of 30 (2 John 1, 3 John 1, Jude 1 & Revelation 1–5)
Hope you’ve listened to the Audio Bible! Now, take some time to meet with your group. Below are some sample questions to guide your conversation, but feel free to add your own too.
🧠 Head (What did the passage say?)
- What passages—like Jesus’ words “Do not be afraid… I am the First and the Last” (Revelation 1:17–18 NIV)—highlight the assurance believers have in Christ?
- Where do you see discernment, such as the call to “watch out… so that you do not lose what we have worked for” (2 John 1:8 NIV) or Jude’s urging to contend for the faith (Jude 1:3–4)?
- Which example best shows truth, like Gaius walking in the truth and showing hospitality to gospel workers (3 John 1:3–8)?
- What teaching—such as the heavenly worship around God’s throne (Revelation 4:8–11; 5:9–14)—challenges common views about what true worship looks like?
- How do these chapters—especially the vision of the Lamb who has triumphed (Revelation 5:5–10)—reveal God’s overcoming power?
❤️ Heart (What does it mean for me?)
- Which verse—like Revelation 1:17–18—gives you assurance in your faith?
- How does the call to discernment in Jude 1 and 2 John 1 encourage you to guard your walk with God?
- When have you lived out or witnessed truth like Gaius in 3 John 1?
- How does the worship scene in Revelation 4–5 move your heart toward deeper worship?
- How does knowing Christ has overcome inspire your worship and confidence?
🤲 Hands (How will I live it out?)
- Share a Scripture this week that gives you assurance in Christ.
- Practice discernment by carefully evaluating what you read or hear against God’s Word.
- Support or encourage someone who is walking in the truth.
- Engage in heartfelt worship that focuses fully on God’s glory.
- Thank God for His overcoming power through prayer, song, or testimony.
