Mini Devotions for Young WomenSample

Patiently Waiting
Each morning I bring my requests to You and wait expectantly.
Psalm 5:3, NLT
Do you ever ask for something without waiting to hear the answer? Maybe you know your request is a long shot, or maybe you have no doubt that the response will be a resounding “YES!” Either way, isn’t it interesting that you would ask something but not pause to listen to the answer?
God wants to receive our requests and offer us a response. We might hear an immediate answer, or we could have our patience tested as we pause to listen.
God’s response is worth waiting around for. Ask for what you need and desire, but don’t forget to stand by for His response!
