Breaking Free From ShameSample

Is there an infomercial that lives in your head rent-free, with the enthusiastic host declaring, “But wait—there's more!”? That’s exactly what God’s forgiveness is like. It’s not limited to our past mistakes. It covers everything—even the things we’ve yet to do.
Paul reminds us that Jesus didn’t just forgive our sins. He canceled the entire record of charges against us. They were completely erased when Jesus was nailed to the cross.
You don’t have to carry shame for sins that have already been paid for in full. His forgiveness is bigger than you think. Live like that’s true today.
Prayer:
God, thank you for the fullness of your forgiveness. Help me to live in the joy and freedom of knowing that my sin has been completely and forever removed. Amen.

About this Plan

Shame is one of the enemy’s most subtle weapons. It whispers lies about our worth, our past, and our place in God’s family. It convinces us we’re too broken, too stained, too far gone. But this week, we are reminding ourselves of the truth: in Christ, we are fully forgiven, completely loved, and truly free.
