Breaking Free From ShameSample

Remember the idea of a permanent record? The one that follows you through life, recording every mistake? Sometimes it feels like our spiritual record works the same way, each failure trailing us wherever we go.
But that’s not how God sees us. Psalm 103:12 says that God removes our sins as far as the east is from the west. Not partially. Completely. Gone.
Maybe the world remembers. Maybe others hold on. Maybe you do too. But God doesn’t. When you confess your sin, God forgives and forgets. And when the Creator of the universe chooses to forget your past, that’s a freedom worth embracing.
Prayer:
God, help me let go of guilt and shame, knowing that You have removed my sin completely. Teach me to walk in the peace of Your forgiveness. Amen.

About this Plan

Shame is one of the enemy’s most subtle weapons. It whispers lies about our worth, our past, and our place in God’s family. It convinces us we’re too broken, too stained, too far gone. But this week, we are reminding ourselves of the truth: in Christ, we are fully forgiven, completely loved, and truly free.
