Hebrews: Beyond CampSample

Big Idea: Jesus became human so he could help us.
One of the most powerful truths in all of Scripture is this: Jesus didn’t save us from a distance. He entered our world and walked in our shoes. He felt pain, faced temptation, and experienced suffering. Hebrews 2 tells us he became fully human so he could be a merciful and faithful High Priest.
That means Jesus doesn’t just offer help—he personally understands what you’re going through. He’s not disappointed in your struggle or surprised by your weakness. He knows what it’s like to wrestle with life, and he promises to help you through it, not just out of it. When we’re suffering or tempted, we don’t have to run from God—we get to run to him.
Reflect & Respond:
- Where do you need to remember that Jesus understands what you're going through?
- Talk honestly with Jesus today about one thing you're struggling with.
Pray: Lord, thank you for stepping into my world. I’m amazed that you understand my pain. Help me to run to you, not away from you, when life gets hard. Amen.
