Hebrews: Beyond CampSample

Big Idea: Jesus understands our weakness and gives us strength.
Hebrews 5 reminds us that Jesus, even though he was perfect, experienced real pain and deep obedience through suffering. That matters because it means we don’t worship a Savior who’s disconnected from our struggle. We follow a Savior who cried, hurt, obeyed, and overcame.
Because of that, we can approach Jesus with confidence. We don’t have to fake it or clean ourselves up first. Jesus already knows our weakness, and he invites us to bring it to him so he can give us strength. You don’t need to be perfect to come to God—you just need to come.
Reflect & Respond:
- Are you carrying something alone that Jesus wants to carry with you?
- Share one weakness or struggle with God honestly today.
Pray: Lord, I bring you my weakness. Thank you for understanding me. Help me receive your strength instead of hiding behind my fear. Amen.
