Hebrews: Beyond CampSample

Big Idea: Faith is not just belief—it’s action based on trust in God.
Hebrews 11 is known as the “Hall of Faith.” But the people listed here weren’t perfect or famous for their strength—they were faithful. They lived by faith even when they didn’t see the end result. They trusted God more than they trusted their circumstances.
Faith is more than a moment. It’s a movement. It walks forward when the path is uncertain. It builds, obeys, waits, risks, and hopes. If you’ve ever felt like faith is only for “spiritual people,” read this chapter again—these were ordinary people trusting an extraordinary God.
Reflect & Respond:
- Where is God asking you to take a step of faith today?
- Choose one area in your life where you can move forward in faith—even if it’s just one small step.
Pray: God, help me live a faith that moves. I don’t want to just believe in you—I want to walk with you. Strengthen my trust and help me obey, even when I can’t see the whole path. Amen.
