Imitators of GodSample

Lead Like a Son
For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named. Ephesians 3:14–15 (ESV).
Before you can be a strong leader, you must first learn to be a faithful son. Our identity starts with our relationship with the Father. When we walk humbly before Him, we are positioned to lead with authority, compassion and grace.
Your leadership doesn’t come from striving - but from surrender. You are a son of the perfect Father. Lead from that place.
Am I leading others from a place of intimacy with the Father, or from my own strength?
Prayer: Father God, please remind me daily that I am first Your son. Help me to lead from a place of intimacy with You. Let everything I do flow from my identity in You - not performance, but purpose. Teach me to lead others by first following You. In Jesus name, Amen.

About this Plan

God has called men to more than strength. He has called us to spiritual leadership. As sons, husbands, fathers, and mentors, we are to live our lives in a way that reflects the character of Christ. This 5-day devotional is built around the call found in Scripture to “be imitators of God.” If you want to lead well, it begins with following well. Let us grow as imitators of our perfect Father.
