Imitators of GodSample

Walk in Love
Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. Ephesians 5:1–2 (ESV).
Imitating God starts with understanding how deeply loved we are. As His beloved children, we are called to love others the same way Jesus loves us - sacrificially, consistently and without condition.
This kind of love transforms homes, marriages and relationships. It’s not about feelings - it’s about faithfulness.
Do the people closest to me experience the love of Christ through my words and actions?
Prayer: Father God, thank You for loving me unconditionally. Teach me to walk in that love daily. Let my life be marked by sacrifice, kindness, and grace. Help me to love others like You love me. In Jesus name, Amen.

About this Plan

God has called men to more than strength. He has called us to spiritual leadership. As sons, husbands, fathers, and mentors, we are to live our lives in a way that reflects the character of Christ. This 5-day devotional is built around the call found in Scripture to “be imitators of God.” If you want to lead well, it begins with following well. Let us grow as imitators of our perfect Father.
