Pathways to PurposeSample

Israel believed that bringing the Ark into battle would guarantee victory, but they had treated God like a lucky charm instead of truly seeking Him. When the Ark was captured, it felt like hope itself was lost. But read ahead: God was about to work an astounding miracle that turned things around!
Maybe you’ve had moments where it seems like everything has fallen apart—where what you thought would bring success didn’t work out. But even when it looks like hope is gone, God is not finished. His presence isn’t bound to circumstances; He is still working, even in the defeat.
If you feel like you’ve lost something important, bring your disappointment to God. Ask him to help you trust that even when things don’t go as expected, he is still in control.
Prayer:
Lord, help me to trust you, even when things don’t make sense. Help me to see your hand at work even when I don’t understand. Amen.
