Pathways to PurposeSample

In the busyness of life, it’s easy to become overwhelmed. I remember a season when I was juggling multiple responsibilities at work, home, and ministry. I thought I had to control everything, but the stress was building.
David speaks here of finding hope and rest in God alone, not in our circumstances or our own strength. We all face times when we’re stretched thin and the pressures of life seem to pile up, but this Psalm reminds us that true peace comes when we surrender control and trust God. God is our refuge, our rock, and our salvation—our source of hope in every situation.
Today, take a moment to quiet your heart and surrender any anxieties or worries to God. Trust that He is your source of peace, and find rest in His presence. You don’t have to carry the weight alone.
Prayer:
Lord, I lay my worries before You today. Help me to rest in Your peace and trust You to be my refuge. Amen.
