His Glory, Our Story – Living in Divine InclusionSample

Day 3: New Life in Christ Through Baptism
When we accept Christ’s gift of grace, something extraordinary happens—we enter into new life. Romans 6 explains that through baptism, we are united with Christ in His death and resurrection. What is true of the Messiah, is true of His people: When Jesus died for sin, we died with Him. When He rose from the grave, we rose into a new life of freedom and grace.
Baptism is not just a ritual—it’s a declaration of your inclusion in Christ. God proclaims over your life, what is already true of you in Christ: You are no longer in Adam, bound by sin and death; you are now alive in Christ, empowered by His victory.
Being “alive to God” means living each day aware of this reality. Sin no longer holds authority over you. Instead we are baptized into Christ’s mission of God’s kingdom of grace. We can present our bodies (our whole selves) to live with this new purpose and new identity.
Next Step:
If you’ve been baptized, reflect on what that experience meant for you and how it changed your life. If you haven’t been baptized, consider what it would mean to publicly declare your inclusion in Christ.
Let’s pray…
