His Glory, Our Story – Living in Divine Inclusion

DAY 2 OF 7

Day 2: Grace Reigns Through Jesus’ Victory

The contrast between Adam and Christ reveals the radical power of grace. Romans 5:20-21 tells us that where sin increased, grace increased even more. Jesus didn’t start from scratch like Adam. He started where Adam left us: under the rule of sin and death.

And where this sin was made more, through the law, Jesus came to that point of concentrated darkness and did what only He as the representative King could do. Romans 8:3 declares that in the body of Jesus, God condemned sin in the flesh. When Jesus took the full weight of the power of sin and death onto Himself in His death on the cross, God dealt with sin once and for all, and ruled in our favour. Through His grace we are declared righteous.

This reign of grace doesn’t mean we live however we please; rather, it empowers us to live with freedom and purpose. It reminds us that no sin is too great for God’s mercy. His grace invites us into a new reality where our identity and destiny are shaped not by failure but by His victory.

Next Step:
Take 10 minutes to reflect on God’s grace. Write down any feelings of guilt or shame you’ve been carrying. Offer them to God in prayer, asking Him to remind you of the victory of His grace.

Let’s pray…
