How to Have a Quiet Time With GodSample

The Delight of Prayer
"Our fellowship is with the Father and with his son Jesus Christ" (1 John 1:3).
"At that time Jesus said, ‘I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do.
"All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.
"Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light" (Matthew 11:25-30).
"I no longer call you servants for a servant does not know his master’s business, but I have called you friends for everything that I have learned from the father I have made known to you" (John 15:15).
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7).
"For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd: 'he will lead them to springs of living water.' And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes” (Revelation 7:17).
