BLESSED RESTSample

Day 5: Resting in God’s Grace
Today's scripture was written by Paul in a letter to the church in Corinth. Paul had been dealing with a personal struggle—his “thorn in the flesh”—and asked God to take it away. Instead, God reminded him that His grace was enough to sustain him. This verse is a beautiful reminder that we don’t have to have everything together; God’s strength shines through our weaknesses.
Rest isn’t just physical; it’s a posture of trust. It’s knowing that we don’t have to have it all figured out or do everything in our own strength. God’s grace is enough.
As a single mom, I often find myself trying to do it all. But the truth is, I don’t have to. When I rest in God’s grace, I’m reminded that He’s already working on my behalf. I can let go of striving and trust that He’s got it all under control.
Write down one area in your life where you’re trying to do it all on your own. Pray and ask God to help you rest in His grace and trust Him with it.
