We Grow: A Journey of Drawing Closer to GodSample

Day 17 of 365
In Job’s search for God amid his pain, he feels that God is distant, seemingly hidden in his suffering. Yet, in Matthew 12, we see Jesus bringing God’s love and power to those who seek Him, revealing God’s heart through His words and actions. It is the Holy Spirit who opens our eyes to recognize God’s work and to sense His nearness, even when circumstances suggest otherwise.
The Spirit is our constant guide, especially in trials, helping us trust that God is present, attentive, and loving. When we are willing to lean into the Spirit’s presence, we find comfort and clarity even in uncertainty.
Today, ask the Holy Spirit to make you aware of God’s presence. Trust that He is near, working within and around you to provide the strength you need.
