We Grow: A Journey of Drawing Closer to GodSample

Day 20 of 365
Job laments the drastic changes in his life, unable to understand his suffering. Meanwhile, Jesus speaks in parables, illustrating how God’s kingdom often grows in unexpected ways. The Holy Spirit helps us see God’s purpose in every season, even when we don’t fully understand it.
During times of difficulty, the Spirit reassures us that God is working, using each season to shape and refine us. His purpose may not always be visible, but we can trust that He is faithful in all things.
Today, invite the Holy Spirit to give you peace in your current season. Allow Him to deepen your trust, knowing that God is always at work in ways you may not yet see.

About this Plan

We Grow: A Journey of Drawing Closer to God is a 365-day Bible reading plan led by Bishop Gary Lewis, the General Overseer of the Church of God. The plan is designed to deepen your faith and understanding of God’s Word. Each day begins with a short devotional, followed by carefully curated Scripture readings, and concludes with the S.O.A.P. exercise—Scripture, Observation, Application, and Prayer. Through this plan, you’ll grow in biblical literacy, discover God’s mercy and purpose, and learn to partner with Him in His Kingdom work.
