The Comeback KidSample

Have you ever had someone show you love even when you felt you didn't deserve it? Maybe a parent or guardian took you out for ice cream after a long day, even though you had an attitude with them. Or maybe you have a friend who celebrated your birthday when you accidentally forgot theirs. Love looks like showing up for each other even when we did nothing to earn it. Jesus shows us an incredible example of this. Even when we were sinners, and there was nothing that we could do to change that on our own, He showed love for us by dying on the cross so that we could have a relationship with God through Jesus. That means no matter what you have done or will do, God loves you.
What would it look like for you to believe this is true? Would it give you more confidence to recognize when you are wrong? Does it inspire you to serve the people around you every day? Today, as you reflect on this, think about how your life would change if you truly believed Jesus loved you enough to die for you. Then, ask Jesus, through prayer, to help you live out of that love.
