The Comeback KidSample

(VIDEO TRANSCRIPT BELOW)
When was the last time you remember washing your feet? Maybe it was after running around outside or after a day at the beach when they were caked with sand. Washing our feet isn’t something we often think about, but during Jesus’s time on earth, foot washing was always a gross job and something that was often necessary. People walked everywhere and often through muddy roads—so their feet could get pretty gross. Jesus decided to wash his friends’ feet on his last night with them. He wanted to show what it means to care for and serve his friends. When we serve someone, it just means we do something to help without expecting anything in return.
Today, think of how Jesus served his friends and showed them he loved them. What is one way you can show your friends you love them by serving them this week?
