God's Redemption Story (The Church: Part 2)Sample

1 John – Day 3
“Anti-Christ” is a loaded term. With it comes a slew of theological questions and, for many, a decent amount of fear. People argue about the existence or identity of one specific anti-Christ figure. We haven’t been given every detail about these things, which is a source of frustration for many.
One thing we do know for certain is that we have all encountered the spirit of anti-Christ to which John is referring. This spirit is found in those who have denied Jesus Christ. There are many who claim to follow God but do not accept Jesus, but John tells us that no one who denies the Son has the Father.
This is a frightening thought, but be encouraged! If we are in Christ, we are secure in our relationship with God. We have been given an assurance of Eternity with Him!
