Hope for the HallwaysSample

See Like Jesus
In this chapter, Jesus sees a blind man and stops to help him. This man had been blind from birth. He had probably used up every dollar and doctor he could to get his healing. Countless days waiting and countless people walking past him, like he was invisible.
Until Jesus. Jesus saw him and he stopped. Then He not only stopped, He used what was around Him and what was in Him to do a miracle. Even when His own disciples were judging this guy, Jesus said, “As long as it is the day, we must do the works of Him who sent me.”
What if Jesus placed you in your specific hallways to notice the person everyone walks past? What if you asked Him to help you see and meet the needs of those right in front of you? Jesus has equipped you with the same power He used that day. Let’s make it our mission to not look through people, hurry to class, and stay in your own little world.
Pray for someone, be kind, share your lunch, ask a question, or hold a door. Use what’s inside you and around you this school year! Contagious hope starts with seeing people the way Jesus does.
