God's Redemption Story (The Church: Part 1 )Sample

Acts: Week 1 – Day 3
People like to point fingers at who killed Jesus. The Jews arrested him and demanded his crucifixion, but Roman hands hammered the nails. Turns out blame is unnecessary. Acts tells us Jesus’s death was God’s plan, decided from the beginning, to defeat death and restore our relationship with him.
God’s redemption plan is the reason Jesus came, the reason the Apostles shared the good news with others, and the reason each of us can learn the truth, receive God’s free gift of forgiveness, and live with the power of the Holy Spirit within us.
Do we believe in God’s purpose enough to share that good news with those around us?
