Reading With the People of God - #3Sample

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name....
[prayers of adoration and thanksgiving]
Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven....
[prayers of longing for God's shalom (peace) and Kingdom rule]
Give us this day our daily bread....
[prayers for the needs of the community and ourselves]
Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors....
[prayers for personal reconciliation with God through repentance and with others through forgiveness]
And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one...
[prayers for personal struggles with temptation and evil from the world, the devil, and our flesh]
For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
