Reading With the People of God - #3Sample

Welcome to the first day of part 3 of our journey through the Bible! For this part of the plan, we will devote some special attention to the Lord's Prayer. For this first week, each day, you will be invited to recite portions of the Heidelberg Catechism* that focus on each of the unique petitions our Lord taught us to pray.
TODAYS PRAYER:
Our Father in Heaven, Hallowed be your name...
Help us to really know you,
to bless, worship, and praise you
For all your works
And for all that shines forth from them:
Your almighty power, wisdom, kindness,
Justice, mercy, and truth.
Help us to direct all our living—
What we think, say, and do—
So that your name will never be blasphemed because of us
But always honored and praised.
Amen
* Heidelberg Catechism, Q&A 119. 122-129.
