Prophecy and Promise: Devotions from Time of GraceSample

The Gospel Will Be Proclaimed Everywhere Finally some good news. At the end of all his hard and realistic prophecies, Jesus made two phenomenal promises. The first is that every humble believer who hangs onto Christ as Savior will be welcomed into eternal life. People may have lost jobs, wealth, homes, family members, limbs, or health, but if they have Christ they inherit everything. These are his incredible words: "But he who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come" (Matthew 24:13,14). The second promise is a pledge that God won't let the end come until the message of the Savior has reached all over the world. Not only have Christian missionaries entered every country on earth, but shortwave radio, satellite TV, and the Internet can bring the gospel almost anywhere on the planet. Satan, you lose! In the end we win! Heads high!
