5 Days Experiencing the Power of GratitudeSample

End the Comparison
Comparison breeds feelings of envy, dissatisfaction, and a misplaced urge to conform to an artificial standard. God did not create us to compete with one another but to support each other with our own unique gifts and purposes. We are each a part of a larger body, and when we act in our capacity without trying to be something that we are not, we support each other well.
Gratitude can help us be more confident in what we have to offer. It can help us feel more comfortable in our own skin. Let’s give up comparing our personalities, bodies, and talents with one another. Instead, let’s develop whatever inherent qualities we do have. We are each a gift to one another, so let’s stop apologizing for what we’re not and instead be the best of who we are!
Make a list of all the traits that you love about yourself. If you are stumped, ask other who know you well! When you are tempted to compare yourself to others, remind yourself of who you are and focus on what specific work is yours to do.
