Teaching Your Child How to Respect and Obey (God’s Way)Sample

Day 9: Creating a Positive Environment
As we near the end of our 10-day journey to nurture respect and obedience in our school-age children, we arrive at a crucial topic—creating a positive environment within our homes. Our guiding Scriptures for today are Philippians 4:8 and Psalm 34:14. Philippians 4:8 encourages us to think about whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and praiseworthy, while Psalm 34:14 instructs us to seek peace and pursue it.
Action to take today:
Foster a positive home environment that encourages respectful behavior. Discuss the impact of positive attitudes on family relationships.
Prayer:
Lord, let our home be a place filled with positivity and love. Guard us against negativity and let respectful behavior flourish. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
Next, read and meditate on God's Word before you go about your day.
