All Who Are Weary: God Is With MeSample

God is with Me
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” – Matthew 11:28-30
When we feel like we are forgotten or alone, it’s the worst. It’s bad enough to be struggling with anxiety, but to wonder whether anyone truly sees us as we really are or is willing to step into this suffering and hold our hand, which adds another level of heaviness.
This fear of being left alone in the middle of our thoughts, body tremors, and spiritual questions leaves us looking around for God when all does not appear well. Where is He when we are crippled by fear and can barely make it through the day? When our mind loops the same intrusive thought or worry? When we wonder if this fretful way of living is becoming our new normal?
We crave the reassurance that God sees us smack in the middle of our struggles and to know that our cries for help are heard.
And the Lord, being who He is, promises to be with us. Even when He feels far, His eyes have never strayed from where we are, and He is always at work behind the scenes.
Remember: God is with me.
